Maggie & Michael
Stone Post is led by Maggie and Michael, whose complementary strengths and perspectives shape the company together. Both are South Carolina Certified Horticultural Professionals.
Michael is, quite simply, one of the most gifted gardeners we know. Over nearly a decade of hands-on experience, he has cared for some of the Charleston area’s finest gardens—from historic properties to exceptional contemporary landscapes. He has a rare, intuitive ability to read a space: to see what should remain, what needs to change, and exactly what will bring the landscape closer to its potential. His attention to detail and standard of perfection are unmatched. He is especially passionate about seasonal color and container displays.
Maggie’s passion for landscape design dates back to 2010. She brings an entrepreneurial perspective, relentless curiosity, and a drive to understand not only how landscapes work, but how landscape care can be done better. Her focus on design, systems, research, and the client experience continues to guide the company’s evolution.
Together, they share an appreciation for natural landscapes, honest communication, and details that may go unnoticed individually but are unmistakable when experienced as a whole.
